Do I need an appointment?

 

Yes, we recommend appointments at our boutique. This is to ensure our customers receive the best experience and service possible! We do try to accommodate walk-ins but priority is given to our appointments.

What should I bring to my appointment?

 

An open mind, 1-4 of your favorite people whose opinion matters to you, & excitement of course! If you have undergarments you feel comfortable in please bring them along.  We do have strapless bras & Spanx®. Keep in mind that a majority of our gowns have a built in bra, so please do not feel like you have to go out shopping the night before your appointment for that dreaded strapless bra.

What should I expect during my bridal appointment:

 

When you walk into Marah’s we want you to  instantly breathe a sigh of relief and think, “I’ve found my place, my wedding dress is here.  You & your bridal stylist will sit down & chat in one of our cozy seating areas so she can learn about you, your wedding day vision, and wedding dress styles that you think you may love!  Your stylist will then select the gowns that she feels will reflect the look you are going for & also put you in gowns you never would select for yourself. You can expect to try on 8-10 wedding dresses in your private fitting room with the assistance of your bridal stylist.  During your appointment you will also try on veils & jewels from our exclusive designs so you can visualize your wedding day look!


What should I expect during my bridal appointment:

Our boutique is quaint, so when visiting for a bridal appointment we kindly ask that you limit your group to 4 (or less) of your favorite people.  In our 12+ years of experience, less is usually more when you are shopping for your bridal gown. We suggest that you bring people whose opinions you strongly value. It will make your experience that much more memorable sharing with the people you love!

 

If you are going to have more than 4 people please give us a call and we will do our best to accommodate you & your group.  Please note that the options for available appointment times may be more limited.

Can I bring food or drinks to my appointment?

 

We cannot allow carry in alcoholic beverages or food into our boutique.  We understand you may have coffee when visiting for an early Saturday bridal appointment. We just ask that you kindly leave it at our counter. We do offer a celebratory Champagne toast when the brides says “Yes” to her wedding dress at Marah’s!



When should I order my dress?


We LOVE this question! Forget timelines, forget what aunt Sue says (sorry aunt Sue!), you should say YES when your heart is telling you it feels right. We tell our brides to really imagine themselves on their wedding day. Imagine seeing your groom for the first time. Imagine walking down the aisle and seeing the ones you love most. Listen to you, be present in the moment and if the gown gives you all those “bridal feels” you know it's the one!
 

​​Do you offer alterations?

 

We do not offer in-house alterations but have established relationships with several local seamstresses that can accommodate our customers.  You will be given their contact information upon purchase.

Delivery Times

 

You should aim to order your wedding dress no less than 9 months prior to your wedding.  Dresses can take anywhere from 4-6 months to arrive and you need to allow 3 months for alterations. There are rushes available if the recommended time is not possible. Below are suggested time frames:

 

  • Wedding Dress: 9-12 months

  • Mothers Dresses:   6 months​

  • Bridesmaids Dresses:   6 months

  • Jewelry & Veils:   4-6 months



Price Ranges

 

Our Wedding Dresses start at $1700 and go up to $2700.  Our sweet spot is between $1700-2000...most of our dresses fall at this price point.
